Struggling to make ends meet, Mr. and Mrs. Ogunkanmi , along with their three children, faced difficult times as they tried to provide enough food for their family. With Mr. Ogunkanmi working irregular jobs and Mrs. Ogunkanmi managing the household, they often found themselves at the end of the month with little to no food left.
Their situation took a turn for the better when they became beneficiaries of the Oluwo of Iwo Food Bank Initiative. Receiving regular food supplies, including rice, transformed their lives. For the Ogunkanmi family, the simple gift of a bag of rice meant that they could stretch their meals further, reduce their stress over daily food concerns, and focus on rebuilding their lives.
The relief provided by the food bank allowed the Ogunkanmis to plan better, save a little, and even provide a more stable environment for their children. Their story is just one example of how essential food assistance can bring hope and stability to those facing hardship.
